The site you are browsing is an introduction and communication hub of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the region, bringing together businesses, academics, research centers, investors, Incubators and accelerators, government agencies, start-ups.<\/p>\n<p>The One Stop Liaison Office, with a physical presence in Thessaloniki and online access, is a central pillar of the flagship project \u201cInnovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Support Mechanism\u201d. This important project, starting from the 2014-2020 programming period, continues to develop and expand thanks to the funding of the Central Macedonia 2021-2027 Programme, contributing decisively to the strengthening of cooperation between research institutions and businesses in the region.<\/p>\n<p>How is this achieved?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Connectivity<\/b>: Exploring areas of collaboration and linking businesses with researchers to implement new ideas and solve challenges.<\/li>\n<li><b>Funding<\/b>: Guides businesses to find funding for their innovative activities and gives guidance to policy makers on funding actions as explored and identified from \u2018bottom-up\u2019.<\/li>\n<li><b>Outreach<\/b>: It promotes and highlights innovative entrepreneurship and the actions of the innovation ecosystem.<\/li>\n<li><b>Mentoring<\/b>:&nbsp;Supports businesses and innovation teams in leveraging alternative&nbsp;financing options and in assessing and maturing their
