The One Stop Liaison Office, with a physical presence in Thessaloniki and online access, is a central pillar of the flagship project “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Support Mechanism”. This important project, starting from the 2014-2020 programming period, continues to develop and expand thanks to the funding of the Central Macedonia 2021-2027 Programme, contributing decisively to the strengthening of cooperation between research institutions and businesses in the region.
How is this achieved?
- Connectivity: Exploring areas of collaboration and linking businesses with researchers to implement new ideas and solve challenges.
- Funding: Guides businesses to find funding for their innovative activities and gives guidance to policy makers on funding actions as explored and identified from ‘bottom-up’.
- Outreach: It promotes and highlights innovative entrepreneurship and the actions of the innovation ecosystem.
- Mentoring: Supports businesses and innovation teams in leveraging alternative financing options and in assessing and maturing their ideas.
